i have dell r710 running hyper-v server 2008 r2 sp1 installed , patches available through windows update (except ones released week).  no anti-virus installed on host.  box has been in production since oct-2009. periodically of guest vm's lose network connectivity.  of guests either windows server 2003 r2 (latest sp, patched, latest integration services) or windows server 2008 r2 (sp1, patched, latest integration services).  it happens both os.  have been through event logs on guest , host , events symptoms after failure (unable resolve dns, can't find dc, can't connect blah, etc.).  can still ctrl-alt-del "failed" guest through vmconnect.exe and attempt login, take 15-20 minutes through various login steps (authenticating, loading user profile, see gray screen prior explorer loading) i never start bar and have virtually power cycle guest in service. all virtual nic's standard (not using legacy nic's anywhere).  ...

hello, i have new forest abc.local , added new root domain test.local. in future add several more root domains. in abc.local forest root, there exchange servers accessed forest users , nothing else. in test.local there resources related domain. my question is, how should set replication future domains not replicate unnecessary information each other. of the 3 choices, replicate every dns server in forest, every dns server in domain, or to specific partitions, best option scaling? hi, i had power failure highlighted bios battery flat. (lesson 1 - connect ups!) (lesson 2 - change battery!) as such lost bios settings control raid array (raid 1) primary boot partition.  didn't manage settings right raid array working again. i proceeded recreate raid (thus loosing data) , tried restore vss backup carried out couple of hours previously. i booted win 2008 dvd , slected next on locale screen. i selected recover prompted me 'this valid systems vista , newer' - no problem thought (win 2008 vista kernel @ heart - , it's running 2008 dvd!). however, when tried continue, wizard, reported recovery utility isn't valid version of windows.  didn't chance point network share containing vss image. i recovered doing full install , activation again (always relearn things second time), i'm concerned if need recover vss in future, i'll end same incompatibility issue in recover wizard. my server 2008 maps sourced product (fully licensed 10 ca...

buenos días tengo un problema y no se como solucionarlo he creado un laboratorio en el cual tengo un domain controler (2008r2 ) , como servidores miembros tengo  tres servers más (2008r2) tengo 2 estaciones de trabajo xp y 2 windows 7 todos los equipos están unidos al dominio. he copiado el usuario administrador del dominio, botón derecho copiar, y me creado un usuario (userxxx)  con los mismos permisos. cuándo me logueo en las estaciones de trabajo con ese usuario (userxxx) tengo permisos de administrador , sin embargo si lo hago en los servidores miembros con el user(userxxx) tengo permisos limitados , me da el siguiente error:  "windows no tiene acceso al dispositivo , ruta de acceso o archivo especificado . puede que no tenga los permisos adecuados para tener acceso este elemento" . también probado en lugar de copiar el usuario, crear un nuevo usuario y agregarlo los mismos grupos que el administrador del dominio. como puedo solucionar esto?...
