Edge and Silverlight

i consider following open letter microsoft.  please read , sign show support...

it doesn't seem many years ago microsoft introduced silverlight promising new technology.  silverlight combined beauty of wpf xamls service-oriented approach new age web design.  showed great promise cross platform tool introducing higher performance web applications tradition html plus javascript applications.  company , many others became sold on technology , committed time , money developing silverlight applications.

however, apple blocked silverlight running on newer browsers / oss, , moonlight (the linux port) never took off.  left windows os support silverlight.  since of customers used windows primary business os, not problem company.  windows 8, internet explorer still actively supported microsoft split touch version , desktop version.

however, windows 10, microsoft introducing new generation browser: edge.  while edge promises faster , more compatible internet explorer, there talk no longer support silverlight.  leaves company , many others left facing hard reality: have invested many dollars silverlight applications relegated run on browser microsoft no longer support.  harder sell convince potential new customers our web applications secure , have long future running under internet explorer.

microsoft, please reconsider support of silverlight edge.  committed silverlight platform, , ask commit us.

i prefer take issue microsoft posting in feedback app ms people read , take notes.

posting in these forum only open infamous chat room never accomplishes anything other having endless pages of " in opinion " comments. @ end of day, microsoft is oblivious of thread, , therefore nothing changes. the thing have accomplished wasting a valuable spot in forum. a spot have post real computer problem.

i prefer use these forums people computer problems.
