Issues with Word 2007 after upgrading to SP3
does know changing in word 2007 (maybe in 2007 office suite itself) in service pack 3?
after upgrading sp3 having issue 1 of our older batch printing processes.
we generate large number of letters each day, have server dedicated printing them out. server, via macros, generates new word document pulling information database (and macro changes structure based on information) file saved , sent printer.
this working fine before sp3 after upgrade 1-5 letters in word locks up, , event log entry not illuminating:
“faulting application winword.exe, version 12.0.6612.1000, time stamp 0x4e725e75, faulting module msvcr80.dll, version 8.0.50727.4016, time stamp 0x49cc5361, exception code 0xc000000d, fault offset 0x00012640, process id 0x40c, application start time 0x01cca292527e55d3.”
this occurs on workstation , server, occurs if use different model printer, , issue went away once office 2007 re-installed @ sp2.
instead of having roll sp2 trying work out part of sp3 causing issue , see if there workaround particular fix.
unfortunately there doesn’t seem definitive list of patches/hot fixes included in sp3.
thanks, chris
