we have 2008r2 server running 1 of our company's applications server 2008r2 enterprise , has 99gb of ram 16 cpu cores.  have been seeing high memory utilization 70% on server , have no idea why when looking in task manager , resource manager when adding processes account 40gb , cached , free memory using 10gb there lot of memory missing around 20gb. nothing shows in task manager processes using excessive memory paged pool/ non paged pool i have run rammap , can see paged pool , non paged pool memory using 12gb combined , metadata file using10gb (is mft) ? !!! have managed track down missing memory. have run poolmon , can see mmst tag using huge amounts of paged pool memory around 4gb the mmst tag microsoft memory management not sure how go fixing ideas ? application runs on server has multiple processes 15 + use huge amounts of memory 1-3gb , uses huge amount of disk i/o hello, have http://support.microsoft.com/kb/979149 if applies situation. best regar...

we adding 64 bit clients our environment , have single windows 2003 32bit server, among other things print server.  have second windows 2003 32bit server make test print server , try add 32 , 64bit drivers serve new 64 bit clients, , migrate our clients new queues tested , working.  have 40 clients , 6 different network printers.  i spend period of time testing new queues on new print server before migrating users , removing original queues. is cause issues on network if have 2 print servers pointing same printer?  2 different print servers send jobs same printer @ same time? keith that should cause no real problems.  print device (physical printer box) waiting jobs queues.  if 1 queue talking print device, other queue on other server see printer busy.  once print device done, other queue fire off. it'll act multiple users directly mapped same ip print device.  ...
