hi, rolling out 2012r2 rds deployment. i have highly available connection broker across 2 servers. i have web , gateways defined across 2 more servers. i have number of session hosts waiting configured. in various collections various teams use. i want have 1 url clients connect via mstsc. had hoped use fqdn of connection broker specified during ha setup, logs me onto 1 of connection brokers (as admin on everything). is possible work or need configure dns entry each session host point collection name? i'd rather not have dns entry every session host. thought connection broker in 2012 did away this.  i thought should determine group user in , redirect them 1 of servers in collection, not work that? the web access seems work, connect web url , click on rdp file, , automatically logs on correct session host. my users don't change , want rdp direct server (mstsc), not want go through web page :( any appreciated! hi, the broker redirects user based on ta...

hey all, i've got oldish server that's 6 months away dropping out of warranty (dell poweredge 1950). used server 2003 r2 domain controller, transferred services on new 2008 r2 box , decommissioned machine.  now, i've rebuilt server 2008 r2 (x64) machine. it's going host backup exec 2012, our trend officescan server , it's going rds host server. day rebuilt added rds host role , shortly after 1 of hard drives in raid 0 array failed. got drive replaced dell on same day since raid 0 configuration, lost , had start over. i built again raid 0 2008 r2 (x64) machine again. going well, until added rds host role last step. upon rebooting, machine became unusable. couldn't start server manager (some error mmc snap-in not being configured), couldn't open "computer" (an error message relating "appropriate permissions"). after leaving server switched on while, i'm not able log on local or domain accounts, i'm left error saying "...

clean install on dell poweredge 1600sc (dual 2.8ghz, 2gb ram, perc 3/sc raid 5.   install seemed go okay unrtil 70% though settings config server briefly blue screen , reboot. took 8 times install complete. every time reboot 30 sec boot process bsod , reboots.   any ideas? if longhorn installation vista, i'd have driver problem, likelyeither video or disk controller, if it's sata.  if can find vista drivers yourmachine can try feeding them installer when asks them.
