hi all i used window server backup tool backup (tmg) server (windows server 2008 r2) , did restore image new , different (dell r610) hardware. after restoring image windows server not able load properly, looklike trying boot windows buts ends blue screen , restart. i did repeat same step fresh backup image didn't work , try repair boot file not working any idea   thanks   ayaz rikshaw,   sorry not have solution have same problem. on different hardware trying bmr of server new "bare metal." know os because if put drives in old hardware boots without issue , able make bmr backup. situation need move server 1 building has space rack server building has room desktop. none of hardware has failed thats good, dont want reinstall / configure server. i have basic win2012r2 file server expired personal certificate, appears have been issued internal certificate authority.   i know of no reason why server needs own certificate.   runs no applications, it's user home folders.  i spot-checked other servers & none of them have personal certificate. can i delete it? hello, all expired certificates can deleted. reason simple: when certificate expired can´t used because became not trusty. radek Windows Server  >  Windows Server 2012 General
