we not have system center products. when reboot hyper-v hosts windows updates, guests move other hosts.  when old host up, have find hosts went , manually move them back. these updates done during scheduled down time, fine if went offline @ time , don't need guests move , forth during scheduled outages.  it easier if paused , resumed host shutdown , restarted, remained , moved new hosts if there unexpected/unplanned shutdown of host. is there better way or automate moving them the original hosts when hosts finish rebooting? you can create powershell script.  sounds have fixed list of vms on each host , keep them balanced way, create simplistic script.  since scheduling shutdown of node in cluster, create powershell script saves status of each of vms running on node , reboots node.  upon startup, run powershell script restore saved vms.  separate set of scripts doing exact same thing on other node of cluster. or, run them centra...
