Windows Server Standard and missing " Turn off the upgrade to the latest version of Windows"


hello all,

my first ever issue in windows server administration.

i still running active directory using windows server standard.  i need enable group policy "turn off upgrade latest version of windows", doesn't seem available version of server.

is there way manually add option in group policy?

any suggestions?

those links explain how upgrade template files, after doing still needed use gpmc newer os able manage gps. unless there way not know way know this. hoping else microsoft might jump in more info, have done way shown above, scripts or using registry tool in gp. have not yet found way add updated templates 2008 , able manage them 2008 gp management console. maybe microsoft has way have not documented , not know about.
