Updating servers with all approved updates (also dependencies after first reboot)

hello all,

we have 2 wsus servers updating our ws environments (one master, , 1 replica / 2 sites).

however, when approve list of updates - not updates installed.

after reboot remaining updates (dependency updates) weren't installed :( .

is possible define 2 schedule times? (or there other solution?)

we want updates approved installed in maintenance window of our customers.

hope hear , thank in advance,

joey.

correct. update installed @ daily scheduled installation event. news 'dependency' scenario occurs, , never occurs in single month's of updates; manifestation of machine behind in patches being caught through several months of updates.

is possible define 2 schedule times? (or there other solution?)

if know scenario exists, suggestion create special wsus target group designed manage machines in condition, , address issue assigning approval deadline "dependent" updates, force installation occur @ first available opportunity after deadline expires (e.g. after machine reboots having installed hte prereq updates).

if such scenarios legitimate, identify in pre-deployment lab testing scenarios.
