Cannot connect to SBS

i running sbs 2008 , having connecting part of network.

192.168.4.1 linksys rsv4000 router connected cable modem
192.168.4.2  static printer
192.168.4.3 static router linksys wireless router upstairs serve workstations , laptops.

the wireless router runs dhcp , supplies addresses starting @ 192.168.21.100
the server supplies addreses downstairs workstations starting @ 192.168.4.100

i connected 192.168.4 workstations easily.
i cannot "connect" ws2.
when run http\\connect, gives me :welcom sbs, run launcher , reports "an error occured"

from result of ipconfig, ntserver.custail (192.168.4.4/24) , ws2 (192.168.21.101/24) located in 2 different subnet. computer shows in network place depends on computer browser service, broadcast other subnet cannot shown because broadcast screened out router between ntserver.custail(192.168.4.4/24) , ws2(192.168.21.101/24).

 

as can login custail from ws2 now, think may have been able ping through sbs server ws2 now. therefore, if case, can map network drive via ip address of sbs server ws2.

 

to enable computer browsing multiple subnets, may consider 1 of following options:

 

1. install , configure wins service on sbs 2008

 

2. set "computer browser" service on sbs 2008 automatic , start it. required netbios browsing work.
