when play vedio window media player throught remote desktop of windows server  2008 r2sp1, find cup used 50%, , media player can't play  vedio ,even no image!

i have enabled remotefx ,the client rdp7.0

can give me advice?

meanwhile, there several hardware requirements must met when deploy remotefx server:

 

slat-enabled processor   the processor in remotefx server must support second-level address translation (slat). in virtualization scenarios, hardware-based slat support improves performance. on intel processors, called extended page tables (ept), , on amd processors, called nested page tables (npt).

 

 

gpu   at least 1 graphics processing unit (gpu) required on remotefx server. gpu driver must support directx 9.0c , directx 10.0. if more 1 gpu installed in remotefx server, gpus must identical. gpu must have sufficient dedicated video memory separate system memory.
