Raid 1 Fails after Installing Windows 10 on Windows 7 Desktop

i have hp desktop running windows 7. runs raid 1. runs great no problems.

i upgraded windows 10 technical preview , appears except 1 of raid drives failed , rebuild started. after rebuild, failed again , again started rebuild. occurred repeatedly. morning desktop wouldn't boot.

i restored windows 7 , again works fine. checked raid drives (s.m.a.r.t) , checked okay. also, raid verify under windows 7 shows no errors.

for second time, installed windows 10 technical preview; had same problem again raid failing. reloaded windows 7 , again works fine. best of knowledge, i'm running latest drivers. there no outstanding updates windows 7 @ the time of installing windows 10.

are others having trouble raid 1 running windows 10? know solution?

- desktop hp pavilion, model az237av-aba e9270t, bios 11/05/09 ver: 5.09, hpqoem - 20091105

- hard drives western digital red (nas), model wdc wd10efrx-68pjcn0, 1tb drives, configured raid 1; firmware 82.00a82

- intel rapid storage technology, user interface version: 9.6.0.1014, raid rom version: 8.9.0.1023, driver ver: 9.6.0.1014, isdi ver: 9.6.0.1014

update: try isolate problem, i configured desktop non-raid , restored windows 7 single disk drive. everything looked did windows 10 upgrade. went , is now running without problems. based on this, appears original assumption correct - there problem running raid 1 windows 10 technical preview on particular configuration.

it compatibility issue between hardware driver , windows 10 technical preview (9926 build). may need wait compatible driver released windows 10 version , later.

DA client not sending packets - no IPSec?

this da server / client environment built in hyper-v mix of virtual , real networks. remote da client uses teredo , iphttps. can ping directaccess (dns servers) listed in nrpt, can ping internal statically configured native ipv6 addresses of internal resources, (2001:480:664a:e::/64) can ping nat64&dns64 addresses assigned da server internal ipv4 resources. (2001:480:664a:e:b733::/96) real dmz network, when attempts ping fqdn of server ipv address proven pingable, there no packet sent out nic (wireshark, promiscuous scanning).  message 'ping request not find host bobbysox.tidir.bctest.. please check name , try again.' again, da & internal dns servers still pingable remote client. if remote da client part of virtual dmz network, boots , communicates da server slew of isakmp messages before establishing ipsec , using esp. same addressing scheme, , connecting da client , external interface of da server real dmz network, ipsec never established, thou...

DFS Replication Setup Issue

i have windows 2008 r2 server environment.  forest , domain set windows 2008.  2 file servers windows 2008r2.  have created name space in domain , have 2 folder targerts on 2 file servers. when try configure replication error "the folloing folder targets cannot added dfs replication members.  click details more information." details: \\ servername \ sharename domain \ servername$ : windows nt 4.0 account name cannot converted qualifies distinguisedname on server.domain.local.  the name returned error. i have tried adding different share , adding folder targets fqdn , netbios name , same error.  can't seem find anyything in searches lead me fixing issue.  there nothing in event log.  cannot replication diagnostic since option not there in dfs managment. hi, as dfs namespace new created, can test recreate dfsr database see if help. you can stop , disable dfsr service on,  go <drive letter>:\sys...
