RDP Application performance
we have remote desktop 2008 r2 farm. have application host on farm can access locally. when users access application remotely using rdp client complain slower local access. have increased bandwidth remote access, rdp servers have plenty of ram, processing power , network access(10gb nic) database server. clicking between windows not same on local lan there latency or affecting it. have 30-40 rdp connections going across 50mb fiber link. else can increase performance?
there 3 servers in farm. each has 64gb of ram, 10gb nic , dual-quad core cpu. notice connecting via remote gateway web interface rdp seems perform better rdp client sessions on fiber.
first, make sure using recent version on remote desktop client. windows 7 see -> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2923545
i suspect network issue.
i try disabling ipv4 checksum offload in network adapter proprties start. you try disabling ipv6.
