RPC Errors

i have posted in forum, feel getting general problem windows. running server 2008 r2 x64 16 gb of memory, , exchange 2010. need install cgi due neededing run php. when went server manager, both roles , features gave me error saying rpc call failed. have tried installing cgi using command line , powershell, error saying remote proceedure call failed.

i have made sure every update installed, except 1 not install. kb978637. when ran server update readiness tool, thing complained did not install. how manually remove update, , able correctly install again?

by have read if update not working, roles , features pages of server manager not work either.

when in event viewer, 1 of error messages:

the application-specific permission settings not grant local launch permission com server application clsid

{24ff4fdc-1d9f-4195-8c79-0da39248ff48}

and appid

{b292921d-af50-400c-9b75-0c57a7f29ba1}

to user nt authority\system sid (s-1-5-18) address localhost (using lrpc). security permission can modified using component services administrative tool.

i hope can find answer before pull rest of hair out , become bald (sorry bad joke)

yes, that's asking. if that's system event log error guess what? should post event log error , application name discovery made registry search in;
