How to hide system folders from view on SBS 2008

when accessing \\servername view shared folders, user can see sysvol, netlogon, exchangeoab, wsuscontent, , other system-related folders.  understand users need access folders, rather not have them seen everyone.  how can hide them view without breaking access?

as appears not possible, have come couple of possible alternatives prevent constant presentation of system folders every user.

the first deploy desktop shortcuts root shares want users see (ie, shortcut \\server\public).  quite easy using user preferences\windows settings\shortcuts section in group policy, , in fact chose now.  next time users log on, have shortcut on desktop.

the problem see there end being lot of shortcuts depending on how future shares located.  in case, dfs namespace feature installed put shares in 1 place.
