how to set up Roaming profiles

hi all,

on server 2013, have profiles set users.  far can tell, sharing desktop between

different workstations.

question:  how roaming profiles to

  1) mount network share?

  2) share libraries (specifically documents)?

  3) share app data directories?

many thanks, -t

by default, roaming user profiles on windows/ad, uses unc paths mount points, doesn't use drive letter mappings (if that's meant).
so, users won't presented obvious/visible mount point profile share, via windows explorer (file explorer).

i've considered way because typical end-user has no need fiddle in central/server profile.

i'm assuming using either "legacy" attribute profiledir in user object, or, using domain gpo specify profilepath ?

b) why want "share" userprofile content? (do mean share user's content other users?)

are trying implement "hot desking" or "un-assigned seating" or "shift worker" scenario ?

i.e. humans move different desks/computers, , logon/logoff @ each computer own userid. when logon, content (data, settings) made available central server and loaded onto computer, immediate use, and, when logoff, data/settings stored on central server.

this can done via roaming user profiles (which involves shipping data , down @ every logon/logoff, and/or differencing/reconciliation), or via folder redirection (which means don't store content on workstation @ all. can fr or without offlinefiles/caching)
