ADFS 3.0 at DR Site installaton

i want clarify 1 thing. have below step , need dr

2 adfs 3.0 servers ( windows 2012 r2) sql 2008 backend @ main site

sql mirrored dr site , it's in restoring mode ( sql )

so if want configure dr adfs server, after install adfs feature on adfs server @ dr, before configure it, have stop adfs services @ mains site , failover sql databases dr site.  cos dr sql dr in restoring mode , can't continue out sql failover.   once installations finished, stop adfs at  dr site /failback sql main site , start adfs services @ main site. process adfs installation @ dr site servers. main site adfs server  already has created relay trust  and hope not effect this. below steps i am things , pls let me know create issues main site

1: stop adfs services @ mains site

2:failover sql databases dr site

3:configure dr adfs server using dr sql instance (which mirrored main site sql )

4: stop dr adfs server , failback sql main site

5: start main site adfs servers.

if thing happened @ main site adfs & sql, start dr sql , start adfs .  sound ???

i want add have maintain communications certificate , token signing , encryption certificates @ both sides customization work may have or not. needs done before happens. , if happens have @ least add point change dns entry farm (e.g. adfs.contoso.com) dr ip address have complete process. if have firewall rules in place check them , dr testing recommended validation , training purposes.

depending if have virtual or physical machines , hypervisor can may use vm replication save lot of work keeping both environments in sync (https://www.simple-talk.com/sql/database-administration/hosting-sql-server-in-hyper-v-replica-environment/).
