Microsoft Security Advisory: Update for minimum certificate key length


i'm running windows 2008 sp2 x64 server need comunicate server have self serve certificate 512 bit encryption. tried certutil command article kb 2661254

but t still can't connectect. able connect these certutil on a windows 2008 r2 server.

is there other process need applied windows 2008 sp2 x64 bypass security?

we contacted vendor , can't upgrade cert 2048 encryption.

this advisory announces use of rsa certificates have keys less 1024 bits long blocked. think should upgrade cert or create new cert.

please refer below article talked working csps default allow minimum 512 bit keys
