hi,

this expected. sysprep remove computer domain, generalize sid of computer, restore user profiles , other tasks. therefore, have specify other settings in unattend file. please understand run sysprep prepare image can use image deploy new systems.

from description, seems not planning create system image. want customize default local profile on existing system.

if so, not need use sysprep. suggest trying following method:

1. create 2 administrator accounts (aaa , bbb) on windows server 2008.

2. logon aaa.

3. customize account.

4. log off aaa , logon bbb.

5. show hidden files.

6. control panel > system , maintenance > system.

7. open advanced system settings tasks list , click continue on permission prompt.

8. click settings button under user profiles.

9. highlight aaa click copy to... button.

10. in copy window, click browse select c:\users\default folder or type copy profile field.

11. click change button under permitted use section.

12. in select user or group window, type "everyone" in text box click ok.  leave off quotes around everyone.  then click ok.

13. returned copy window.  click ok.

14. confirm copy window come tells directory exists , asks if you're sure want continue.  click yes.

15. after profile copied, returned user profiles window.  just close windows.
