Deploying via Network boot

hi guys,

i work web hosting company , we're interested in automating (if possible zti level) lot of server 2012 installations ourselves, , clients taking out servers us. want create image file can boot sort of pxe, i've been asked setup.

here's understandings have @ moment:

  1. i need set widows pe drivers required boot (we buy osless servers, hdd drivers etc required here) using dism add drivers pe image
  2. copy usb drive , use boot blank, new server windows pe
  3. create answer file on (technician) computer used apply settings etc during installation.
  4. add drivers (again?) catalog/answer file , copy file - , windows server 2012 install disk usb drive
  5. run "f:\windowssetup\setup /unattend:f:\autounattend.xml" (replacing f usb drive letter) on server running pe (as step 2)
  6. wait windows server 2012 install completed, , set default user our company requirements (add desktop background)
  7. run sysprep generalize install, , set oobe (does oobe need used if want servers same?) reboot occur
  8. in windows pe capture image of configured server, , copy usb drive (imaging complete)

now here's stumped, how can use standard pxe environment start install? can use server windows deployment services on tell pxe environment start install image file located on network share?

i've read need pxe tftp support, how can tell if server has support already, or more importantly, how can add pxe?

sorry mass of questions/validation requests, i've ever touched windows pe/dism/adk etc once or twice hour or so!

look windows deployment services - it's role part of windows server 2012.  can create boot.wim file contains drivers - right-click on , load drivers.  used pxe boot device drivers available.  can create target hardware system, configure way want, , use windows deployment toolkit (another free download) create 'capture' image can put wds.  can put unattend settings wds.  so, little bit of work, can set wds automatically pxe boot , install sysprepped image has unattend capabilities.  lots of flexibility there.
