what is the difference between active directory integrated zone and DNS zone.

ad-integrated dns stores information in ntds.dit file ad database, provide same security & central point of administration. dns information replication taken ad replication mechanism & doesn't require manual creation of dns zone on each dc dns service installed non ad-integrated dns zone information stored in separate dns file located @ system32/dns folder & limited server been created or have use zone transfer replicate dns data dns server or manually create zone on dns server.
