netsh advfirewall - port still closed

i have forwarded port 11100 routers setup still showing closed. supposed because firewall blocked it. tried adding inbound rule mmc crashed , continues so. workaround used cmd's function netsh , added rules follows:

rule name: riskofrain ---------------------------------------------------------------------- enabled: yes direction: in profiles: domain, private, public grouping: localip: remoteip: protocol: udp localport: 11100 remoteport: edge traversal: no action: allow rule name: riskofrain ---------------------------------------------------------------------- enabled: yes direction: in profiles: domain, private, public grouping: localip: remoteip: protocol: tcp localport: 11100 remoteport: edge traversal: no action: allow ok. netsh advfirewall firewall>

why port still showing closed when test (or try hosting server)?

hi,

are able go directly in control panel\windows firewall\advanced settings check or configure rule?

the output shows port allowed connection, while test whether it's windows firewall block port, recommend temporarily turn off firewall, check if issue persists. should eliminate other third party\anti-virus program might block port.

regards
