i trying have windows xp sp3 imaged onto wds.
then after formatting original computer. have image go onto newly formatted computer in unattended setup.
so have aik , wds installed & working.
1 - copy sysprep components localy included in deploy.cab came windows xp ( \support\tools\deploy.cab )
2 - launched setupmgr.exe , went through wizard chose sysprep setup windows xp , checked box says "yes, automate installation".. setup manager gave me fields , boxes fill .. , did ..
3 - made file called sysprep.info
;setupmgrtag
[unattended]
oemskipeula=yes
installfilespath=c:\sysprep\i386
[guiunattended]
adminpassword=824838e4e7201edaaad3b435b51404ee0df17b7360c722387be931ec088622b3
encryptedadminpassword=yes
oemskipregional=1
timezone=85
oemskipwelcome=1
[userdata]
productkey=xxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
fullname="admin"
orgname="org"
computername=op755
[regionalsettings]
languagegroup=13,1
[setupmgr]
distfolder=c:\sysprep\i386
distshare=windist
[identification]
joinworkgroup=workgroup
[networking]
installdefaultcomponents=yes
4 - run sysprep.exe .. comes window , click on factory.
however, next factory button has mini explanation :to skip windows welcome or mini-setup , configure installation scripted in winbom.ini click factory ..
ok .. winbom.ini file .. can not seem locate ..everytime trying install windows wds, keeps poping mini-setup .. , have put windows key .. accept eula .. make user ..
how can skip ? .. how can have log in automatically .. thought sysprep allows .. winbom.ini ? how can make winbom.ini can automate setup ? .. stuck @ point of time , dont know ...
plz help
thanks..
