Control Panel vs. Settings -- User confusion...
you "windows update" moved control panel , release it's gone!! there new app called settings have mixed functionality control panel. why 2 ways? why confuse existing customer base? i've spent years teaching users how find , things in windows, , seem relish moving things around in random fashion , obscuring user accustomed doing. please, think customer base!! have some consideration non-technical people want job , not spend next 6 months re-learning how things in windows. windows tool, not end-all, be-all, to-everyone. put "windows update" in control panel.
one of main complaints against windows 8 , 8.1 duplicity of "control panel"/"settings" , working on fixing it. can't understand how can whine when step forward.
also, windows tool , end-all, be-all, to-everyone. @ least should try to if want keep being relevant end-user. other platform trying provide own full set of services , fail see why microsoft shouldn't it.
