Video Graphics Card or Motherboard Problem?

a few months ago i had the problem of a secondary internal hard drive not being recognised or accessible. general feeling was hard drive (which newer the primary hard drive) faulty. therefore removed hard drive.

i have problem - that, without warning, (pci) video graphics card doesn't function @ all. have checked cabling , replaced in case , i've unplugged card and plugged the monitor motherboard vga slot.

this results in clear crisp monitorduring start process switches windows icons , type are fuzzy , illegible.

i wondering if is a windows (xp home) problem or, given previous problem secondary internal hard drive, a motherboard problem.

does have ideas on this and better yet solution doesn't involve buying new computer can't afford right now?

hi,

you may need reinstall video card driver. if have not reinstalled it, please have try. if issue persists, can reload bios default settings.

to issue resolved in timely manner, suggest contacting video card manufacturer possible. if computer oem one, can contact computer manufacturer direct assistance.

hope helps.
