Single Sign On

we implementing sso, , have 2 domains (one mine  ad1, , 1 charter school ad2). way our sso works, redirect ldap server, queries ad authentication.

if trust between domains, ldap querie ad1 able authenticate users in ad2?

i new trusts, , find nothing tells me or not work.
