Update ADMX Files after Upgrade from Server 2008 to Server 2008 R2 - what to consider?


hi there

i'd upgrade infrastructure (dc , memberservers) 2008 2008 r2 , i'd know if there considerations gpo? cause i'd copy admx , adml files server 2008 r2 (%systemroot%\policydefinitions) (%systemroot%\sysvol\domain\policies\policydefinitions)

normaly gpo's should not changed or there new default-settings better know before update?

note admx syntax changed between vista , win7 --
once you've copied admx files central store, should
upgrade gp management station(s) win7, too. vista gpmc might
throw 1 error or other @ if has trouble parsing new
admx files (it doesn't crash, complains).
