Windows 2000 - How to scan for missing security updates
hello all,
know there eol w2k already. our company have multiple applications not running on w2k3+ migration not possible @ time.
company paying extended support, have access latest security patches w2k not publicly available. , have access "csa-windows2000sp4.cab" files(something wsusscn2.cab - used perform scans using mbsa , released when ms releasing critical patch). have discovered file contains critical patches(microsoft releasing critical , important patches).
facing problem need run scan(preferably mbsa other free tools acceptable) , see patches(critical important) missing on server. there possibility, how perform such scan?

mbsa , hfnetchk tools used when server 2000 supported.
there tool shavlik makes accompany baseline security analyzer tell users updates , patches need.
