Inconsistent tab behaviour in content controls

hi,

i'm using word 2010 set order form filled in colleagues. i've laid out form using tables, , filled various content controls (rich text, check boxes, combo boxes , date boxes) text descriptions around them. group document , save template file. however, can not tabbing behaviour consistent. when reaching end of 1 table, marker gets stuck , won't move next content control in next table (next section of document) when tab pressed, , @ other places stops jumping next content control , instead selects entire content of next cell in table. can not see pattern might trigger - not seem matter type of content control i'm trying jump to or from. have not encountered problem when creating forms before in word 2010, time i'm stumped - i've restarted blank document several times , built form in different ways still encounter exact same issue.

grateful idea might come with.

i able reproduce problem when using plain text controls versus rich text controls. appears occur if last control in 1 of cells plain text control, tabbing not occur unless next cell has content control.

i inserted 3-column, 2-row table fresh document. in column 1 & 2 of row 1 inserted rich text control , in column 3 of row 1 inserted plain text control. tabbing next control stopped unless column 1 of row 2 contained content control. if last column contained rich text control, problem did not occur.

is design or bug? that's not in pay-grade answer. :-)

i tested text controls advise check last column controls , see if causing issue you.
