Dynamic PTR Records not updated on the DNS zone for LINUX DHCP Clients

hi all,

we using 2008r2 dns , dhcp server in our environment. our dhcp clients both windows , linux machines. configured dynamic dns update through dhcp server. dhcp server update dns records both , ptr records. has fine till last week. yesterday found many of linux clients doesn't have ptr record in dns. reverse lookup zone available in dns but some of reverse records missing. dns zone ad integrated , has scavenging enabled for 4days refresh interval , 4 days non refresh intervals. enable automatic scavenging of stale records on dns server set 4 days. please guide me on how find root cuase of issue. have strucked no clues.

thanks response. issue has fixed now. have taken below actions.

dns buffer

our dhcp server responsible dns registration lot of non-windows hosts.  when these registrations fail held in buffer , retried.  combination of high activity rates , large number of failure led ms believe buffer may full.  expanded 4 mb.

make sure account being used registration - ddnsupdater think – belongs authenticated users , dnsupdateproxy.  believe ms assigned rights reverse lookup zones explicitly.  if has helped add rights zones.

Edit Group Policy

i have pc has power settings pushed out default domain policy in ad environment. of course on local machine "some settings managed system adminstrator". the machine temporarily no longer in contact domain controller (it's been physically moved , not on same network now) can't updated gpo settings. i believe if edit local group policy won't make difference because of group policy processing , precedence. since it's temporary away ad network, still want use settings of ad user. is there somewhere in registry stored can edit power plan manually until can sync domain?
