iSCSI not reconnecting after reboot


i have 2 servers(windows server 2012 r2) in fail on cluster hosts file servers , vms. connected synology rs815rp iscsi storage. have 6 targets connect in microsoft iscsi initiator. whenever reboot of servers not of targets reconnect. went through targets , made sure check:     add favorites list

contacted synology support , there recommendation increase timeout value because issue windows.

check event viewer see if there related events. iscsi related events under following path: windows log\application.

i have seen similar issues solved updating dsm version.

how network connection between nodes , storage, stable?

are there differences between different targets?

i decided re investigate network connections iscsi storage. when setting test configuration of synology nas , 2 servers, used nic teaming. removed 2 nics team , used 1 nic connect synology nas. server rebooted , got connections working automatically.  found article , apparently not supported https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/ff679916.aspx
