Auto updates are rescheduled at time of the installation.

hi,

we update our servers (most of them windows 2003) via wsus. servers scheduled via gpo (e.g. every week on friday @ 20h00). 

the problem we're having servers randomly don't install there patches @ scheduled time, instead reschedule them next week @ scheduled time. although approved updates downloaded day , sometime 2 days upfront on server...

also randomly, server goes month can reschedule next month. amount of rescheduled servers different.

well, first problem got triggering api-based detectnow call machine every 10 minutes -- pretty preventing wuagent else it's supposed doing:

the news client finding 5 updates wants install:

the bad news ain't running no installation event.

it wants to.

but guess since it's not downloading content these 5 updates found... there's nothing install.

this because of 1 or both of above issues:

• the every 10 minutes detection event.
• the inability populate service startup entries in cache.

but perhaps interesting thing @ 7:35pm did trigger installation event -- alas, don't know happens since logfile ends:
