Adding a existing domain to a domain as a subdomain?

hi,

can join existing domain subdomain of existing domain?

lets have domain1.local , domain2.local, join domain2.local subdomain of domain1.local creating domain2.domain1.local

is there way of doing without having destroy domain2.local , creating scratch add domain1.local subdomain?

hope there simple answer have done before end of day preferably.

hi,

yes, possible, can migrate stuff using admt tool free from microsoft or can use other third party tool quest or netiq.

please note, admt doesn’t have exchange/mailbox migration option.  if not planning use third party migration tool quest or netiq, option export mailbox (exmerge) , import them.
